Rejecting linings and embracing exposed seams, Sonia Rykiel was unique from the moment she arrived in Paris. Launching her label in 1968, she typified a new generation of designers and offered innovative creations, black silhouettes and colourful stripes, telling women to adapt her fashion to their own bodies and create their own styles. Sonia’s daughter, and heiress Nathalie became Artistic Director of the brand in 1995, and continues to push boundaries and broaden the label’s scope of vision. She collaborated with H&M in 2009 and inducted her own daughter, Sonia’s granddaughter, Lola, into the family dynasty that same year. Sonia Rykiel remains bold, unique and represents freedom in fashion.
Jewellery and Accessories products must be handled with special care in accordance with the following care advice in order to avoid damages to the product. To ensure that your product remains in beautiful condition over time, please observe the following:
Jewellery is a delicate product. As a result special care is required. Store your jewellery in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid scratching. Polish your product carefully with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain the original, lustrous finish. Please remove jewellery before washing hands, swimming or applying body care products such as perfume, hairspray, soaps and lotions as this could harm the metals and reduce the lifetime of the plating, as well as cause discoloration and loss of crystal brilliance. Put on jewellery last when dressing, and take off first when undressing. Avoid contact with water. Avoid hard contact (e.g. knocking against objects) which could cause scratches, chips and other damages. Avoid contact with harsh, abrasive materials or glass cleaners. Watches: Please refer to producer’s operating instructions manual.
Please note leather and accessory products are usually not washable, nor suitable for spot cleaning. These products should not be dry-cleaned or washed as this will cause deformation or other changes to appearance. Leather is a natural material, which evolves over time. To preserve its original appearance, we recommend you treat the product with care and avoid direct contact with grease, water, perfumes and make-up to prevent stains. Avoid overloading leather and fabric accessories as they might lose their shape. Keep it at dry environment and no direct sunshine during storage.
